This beer restaurant is housed in a mid-19th-century building, a redoubt of the Kupfertheich bastion. Everything here is permeated with the atmosphere of a German baronial castle: on the walls are swords on shields, hunting trophies, a medieval knight in armor is standing in front of the entrance to the upper hall.
