Nesselbeck

The luxurious hotel-castle "Nesselbeck" ("Nesselbeck" - "nettle stream") will impress its guests with the splendor and special atmosphere of the Middle Ages. The hotel is located in the picturesque area near Kaliningrad and close to Kaliningrad international airport (Khrabrovo).

The Nesselbek complex was built according to all the canons of architecture of that era and differs from other hotels in the Kaliningrad region by the unique interior: it seems that the walls of red brick still keep the secrets of the Teutonic Order. The sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere of the rooms of the Nesselbeck Hotel is sustained in the same medieval style: exclusive furniture, chairs and beds with painted backs and leather upholstery, drapes made by special order. Even the smallest details of the hotel’s interior literally “breathe” the history of the Middle Ages, its atmosphere is emphasized by colorful stained-glass windows and paintings on the walls of the hall.

The hotel features 23 rooms: 18 Standard rooms, 3 Luxury rooms, special Romantic room and Presidential room.

From May to September in the open arena in the courtyard of the castle you can enjoy costumed horse-chivalry or fire shows, shoot archery or test yourself in javelin throwing, horseback riding or coinage. The castle’s watchtower houses the museum of medieval torture and the museum of the Teutonic Order, the exhibits of which will allow you to touch the history of the Middle Ages, East Prussia / Kaliningrad region.

Restaurants

The spirit of the knightly era will make an unforgettable vacation in the restaurant and brewery Nesselbeck. The 250-seat hall, located on two levels, offers authentic dishes of meat, poultry, fish and seafood, prepared according to old medieval recipes, with a mug of delicious beer from its own brewery. The Nesselbeck Hotel serves breakfast each morning in the dining room. In the evenings live music is played and the guests are guarded by armored knights.

For unforgettable gala dinners and other celebrations you can choose banquet hall with 80 seats with stained-glass windows and paintings on the walls and ceiling, as well as the fireplace hall with 60 seats in the medieval style.

Conference Hall Nesselbeck is a perfect place for seminars, presentations, business conferences, banquets, team buildings, training courses, corporate and private celebrations.

Each of the rooms is named after one of the Grand Masters of the Teutonic Order.
