Copper

The restaurant is located in the historical building of the Zarya cinema, built in 1938 by German architect Siegfried Sassnik. The interior is made mainly in dark shades with elements of natural copper. The walls are made of red German brick with elements of collapsed plaster. Ceiling with scuffs and elements of destruction with shingles, large-scale ceiling cornice, painted black to match the color of the ceiling. The historical elements in the interior, the steps between the bar hall and the restaurant hall, made of German brick worn out over decades, stucco elements in the openings, and the ceiling in the bar, have been left. All furniture is made to order. The central accent in the room is a large-scale black false fireplace, in front of which on the ceiling there are handmade chandeliers made of wooden beads painted in dark shades. Along the perimeter of the room there are metal panels with slots and lighting behind them. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a copper-colored partition. The restaurant is illuminated using gallery lighting, which gives the room a subdued, intimate feel.

The basis of the cuisine concept is contained in the author’s interpretation of international culinary traditions. Modern cooking techniques are used to highlight the taste of food with exotic Asian and Nordic notes. The culinary team wants to bring to visitors an unusual take on familiar things, expanding ideas about the boundaries of culinary possibilities and changing the generally accepted idea of food.
